13 years after 9/11, President Obama talked to the American people about America’s latest “counter-terrorism strategy,” namely, to “degrade, and ultimately destroy, ISIL”. 13 years after 9/11 and apparently the American people are still thinking there’s something logical, just and righteous about the War on Terror. Or are they?
I smelled a rat on 9/11. I smelled it, but couldn’t see it. I just knew something was wrong. A lot of things didn’t add up. How did those passports miraculously survive the impact of the planes? Why did they happen to be the passports of the terrorists? That was the first thing that got me thinking. Then there was the swiftness of identifying the culprit and invading Afghanistan within the blink of an eye.
As the years passed, the doubts mounted. I started looking online and found that others doubted the official narrative, too. Sure some of them had some wild theories, but others presented irrefutable facts and evidence. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth was one of those. I wrote a blog about them about five years ago, naively thinking that their expertise would sway some readers into at least rethinking 9/11. I was called a crazy conspiracy theorist and told on no uncertain terms that they were, too. Not one of my detractors actually looked into the credentials of the architects and engineers or listened to what they had to say.
Lo and Behold! Richard Gage, the founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth appeared on C-SPAN recently. Not only was he allowed to speak freely, but the people who called in were overwhelmingly sympathetic to his views. In case you missed it, I’ve embedded the video below.
I don’t want to go into the details about the overwhelming evidence that 9/11 was, if not an inside job, at least aided and abetted by senior members of the Bush administration. Others have done it countless times before. Read 9/11 After 13 years, by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, for some of the information. I just want to ask one question:
Can we accept the truth about 9/11 now?
I think most of the people outside of the United States and many more than in the past inside the U.S. are ready to re-examine 9/11, but no, I don’t think we can accept the truth about 9/11 because we don’t know the whole truth and probably never will. All we have to go on is evidence. In my opinion, the evidence stacks up overwhelmingly in favour of the more conscientious “conspiracy theorists,” but that’s just my opinion. Only those who either participated directly in the atrocities or are keeping secrets know the whole truth and it’s doubtful any of them are going to come clean any time soon.
What’s more important to me is the aftermath of 9/11. It’s obvious that the events of that day have been cynically used to promote a war agenda. The U.S. and its allies have been invading countries at will, none of which bore direct or even indirect responsibility for the attacks. The plan for these wars was laid out in the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) in the late 1990s. It called for America to “fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars” in order to secure American financial and military dominance into the foreseeable future. Many of the signatories ended up being part of the Bush administration. Chew on that for a minute.
When Obama was elected to office, many Americans hoped the era of endless aggression would end, but it’s been more of the same. Now, with Obama’s pronouncement that the U.S. and its allies are going to actively lock horns with ISIS, ISIL or the Islamic State (IS), whichever title you prefer, we’re being catapulted into what could end up being the messiest stage of the “War on Terror.”
Susan Lindauer is an interesting person. In 2004, she was arrested for “trying to influence U.S. policy as a paid agent of Saddam Hussein’s intelligence services.” Lindauer was jailed and later ruled incompetent to stand trial because she “lacked a connection to reality.” In a Kafkaesque twist, it was the prosecution who argued she should not stand trial, not her defence lawyer, who was unable to attend the proceedings and was going to argue in favour of her having her day in court. Finally, just before Obama’s inauguration, the charges against her were dropped, but the intervening years were anything but pleasant for her.
Susan Lindauer wrote a book, Extreme Prejudice: The Terrifying Story of the Patriot Act and the Cover Ups of 9/11 and Iraq and has made appearances on alternative news networks and sites since her release in 2008. Recently, she sat down with Jeff Durkin of We Are Change and talked about ISIS. She began by explaining that she and others predicted the rise of a group like ISIS in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. She then went on to give her views about what was going to happen after the U.S. and its allies started actively trying to defeat ISIS. “I believe, very strongly,” she said, “that in the next six months we’re going to see Lebanon and Jordan fall.” After that, a war against Israel is on the cards and the United States will have no choice but to side with Israel, boots on the ground and all.
I don’t know. Susan Lindauer may be the nut case the government and MSM make her out to be or she may be exactly who she and her supporters say she is. You can watch her interview by clicking here ; listen to her speak by clicking the link under her photo; or read her contributor biography on Veterans Today and decide for yourself.
I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that the War on Terror has had nothing to do with 9/11. 9/11 did, however, serve as the “false flag” the neocons said might be necessary to get public opinion on their side years prior to the event.
ISIS may not be another false flag, but they are being used for the same purpose as 9/11: to instil fear and hatred into the American people and justify further bloodshed in the Middle East. If Susan Lindauer and other observers are right, the blowback is going to be on an epic scale.
Every campaign in the so-called War on Terror has led to the strengthening of terrorist groups, death and misery for millions of innocent people and completely failed in its mission — unless endless war and the slaughter of innocents is the mission. If that’s the case, the masters of war may succeed beyond their wildest dreams — and our worst nightmares.
